This is a Shiva temple in Kalappal. Shiva is called Azhagiya Nathar (Aaditheswarar) and Shakti is called Prabha Nayaki (Pannermozhiyal). A darshan of both Shiva and Shakti can be done from same mandapam at once. Shiva to the front, and Shakti to the right.
There is a place to sit and meditate. You can go into meditative states here effortlessly.
This Temple is also the mukti place of Kootruva Nayanar.
