This is a consecrated Murugan temple in Sungai Siput Utara, Perak. The temple is locally known as Malai Kovil and is connected with the worship of Lord Murugan.
Local devotees consider it a quiet hill and cave temple, and people visit the space for prayer and meditation.
There is a place to sit and meditate in the temple premises. You can go into meditative states here effortlessly.
How to get there
The temple is located in Ladang Sungai Siput, about 7.8 kms north-east of Sungai Siput Railway Station and about 2.8 kms east of Kampung Batu Tujoh. From Sungai Siput town, take a car or taxi towards Ladang Sungai Siput / Sungai Siput Farm and follow the Google Map location.

About Sri Siva Shanmugar Temple
Sri Shiva Shanmugar Temple is situated in Sungai Siput Utara, Perak. The temple tradition says it was established in 1902 by the local community. It is described as a cave temple within the premises of what was once known as Phin Soon Farm, now known as Sungai Siput Farm.
The temple was reconstructed from 2002 and completed in 2011. Lord Murugan is the primary deity, and Vinayagar, Murugan, and Nagammal are also worshipped here. The annual Thaipusam festival is celebrated at the temple, along with Kaarthigai Deepam and Vaigasi Visagam.
