Shree Bhuwaneshwori Temple, Pashupatinath, Kathmandu, Nepal

This is a consecrated temple of Shree Bhuwaneshwori Devi, one of ten Dasmahavidhyas at Pashupatinath Kshetra, Kathmandu. You can make offerings and go close to the Deity. There is space to sit and meditate. You can go into meditative states effortlessly here.

This temple is located just outside of the western gate of Pashupatinath temple outer perimeter.

The word Bhuvaneshvari is a compound of the words Bhuvana Iśwari, meaning “Goddess of the world” or “Queen of the universe”, where the worlds are the tri-bhuvana or three regions of bhūḥ (Earth), bhuvaḥ (atmosphere) and svaḥ (Heavens).
